Craig McClean, Gregg McHatton, and the invaluable wisdom of Michael Hebron have come together around a shared belief:

The future of golf learning will be shaped by the intersection of experience, science, technology, and curiosity.

Through BlobmanAI, we hope to explore that future with you.

Together, we will examine movement, learning, performance, biomechanics, neuroscience, and the emerging capabilities of artificial intelligence—not in search of simple answers, but in pursuit of deeper understanding.

The future is arriving quickly. Let’s explore it together.

Craig McClean
is an iOS developer, builder, and golf enthusiast who enjoys creating elegant solutions to complex problems. Driven by curiosity and a commitment to lifelong learning, he brings both technical expertise and a golfer’s perspective to the Blobman project. Craig is leading the development of Blobman for iOS, helping transform innovative ideas about movement and learning into tools that golfers can use every day.

Gregg McHatton
For more than 50 years, Gregg McHatton has been searching for a deeper understanding of how golfers learn.

A PGA Teaching Professional and former Teacher of the Year in both the Southern California PGA and Metropolitan PGA, Gregg has presented at two National PGA Teaching Summits and the Scientific Congress of Golf. His work has spanned traditional instruction, biomechanics, motor learning, and performance science.

As the creator of Blobman, developed through research conducted at the University of Nevada, Reno Biomechanics Lab, Gregg has long been fascinated by the relationship between movement and learning.

Today, his attention is focused on a new frontier: exploring how artificial intelligence can help connect golf learning, golf science, biomechanics, and human performance in ways that were previously impossible.

His journey continues with the same question that has guided him for decades:

How do golfers really learn?
